Modals expressing present and future offers
To express offers, usually the auxiliariesA helping verb used with main verbs to express mood, voice and tense. E.g.: I can't stand when I am disturbed. ("can", "am") of permission, possibility, suggestion and willingness are used.
Can I help you?
I could give you a lift.
May I carry your suitcase, Madam? (question form only)
Shall I copy this document for you? (question form, 1st person only)
I will make you a coffee.
